The elite standards

Osteopathy is suitable for all sports: running, weightlifting, football, rugby, dancing, swimming, cycling, etc.

Why osteopathic monitoring for athletes?

Osteopathy is also an excellent complement for athletes, whether amateur or professional. It helps to improve performance, prevent injuries, and optimize recovery. Regular follow-up helps the body adapt to the demands of the sport practiced and correct any imbalances.

1. Injury prevention

The osteopath identifies and corrects muscular and joint imbalances before they develop into injuries (tendonitis, sprains, muscle spasms, chronic pain, etc.).

2. Performance improvement
Improved joint mobility, good muscular balance, and optimized blood circulation help athletes to perform movements more efficiently and improve their endurance.
3. Post-exercise recovery
After an intense workout or competition, osteopathy helps release muscle tension and flush out toxins, thereby reducing post-exertion pain and muscle soreness.
4. Rebalancing the body
Some sports place greater demands on one side of the body than the other (tennis, golf, soccer, etc.). Osteopathic care helps correct these imbalances and prevent compensatory patterns that could lead to pain or injury.
5. Support in case of injury

How often to consult?

  • For prevention : 3 to 4 sessions per year for a regular athlete.
  • During intense training : every 2 or 3 months.
  • After an injury : depending on the severity, several sessions may be required to support rehabilitation.

Osteopathy is suitable for all sports: running, weightlifting, football, rugby, dancing, swimming, cycling, etc.
